CUP SERIES QUALIFYING TODAY: COTA start times, schedule, how to watch live on TV and stream
COTA is the first road course test for the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series stars to contend with this season following back-to-back events at drafting tracks in Daytona International Speedway and EchoPark Speedway (Atlanta), with group qualifying procedures set to be in place.
Last year's qualifying at COTA saw rising star Connor Zilisch take pole ahead of his eventual race victory, with Cup Series stars Ross Chastain and William Byron having been close behind.
Zilisch has since been promoted to the Cup Series full-time, but is back in an O'Reilly Auto Parts Series car this time around, eyeing a successful weekend in the No. 1 Chevrolet for JR Motorsports.
Chastain is also back in the No. 32 Chevrolet for Jordan Anderson Racing Bommarito Autosport, while another Cup star and road course expert, Shane van Gisbergen, is another to watch in the No. 9 Chevrolet at JR Motorsports.

Is there Xfinity Series qualifying today?
Yes and no. No, there is no Xfinity Series qualifying today. However, that is because NASCAR's second division has been renamed the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series for 2026.
O'Reilly Auto Parts signed a multi-year title sponsorship with NASCAR that was announced in August 2025.
