2023 NASCAR Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney and his wife Gianna have announced the birth of their first child.

Ryan and Gianna, who married on December 12, 2024, announced in July that they were expecting a baby, with the birth scheduled for before the end of the year.

This week, baby Blaney finally arrived, with the pair issuing a short statement on Instagram confirming that they had welcomed a baby boy to the world.

Charley Bennett Blaney was born on November 17, 2025.

NASCAR legend Jimmie Johnson was one of the first in the comments to congratulate the couple, as was Jordan Fish, fiancée of Denny Hamlin.

Blaney has been leaning on NASCAR rivals ahead of fatherhood

With baby Charley arriving just a couple of weeks after the end of the NASCAR season, the timing could not be better for Ryan and Gianna.

It turns out Ryan has already been thinking about the sort of impact fatherhood will have on him, too, having seen his friend and Cup Series rival Bubba Wallace go through the same thing following the birth of his son, Becks, last year.

“Yeah, he’s [Wallace] a mushy teddy bear now," Ryan said regarding Wallace and fatherhood on NASCAR on Prime back in June.

"Yeah, it’s cool. Bubba and I have known each other for two decades, 20 years, raced together, grew up together, live five minutes down the road from each other nowadays, and really good friends.

“I’m sure it [fatherhood] changes you. I can’t speak to that matter. I’m not a dad,” Blaney continued.

“But just to see his change and his outlook on life and his attitude about everything, it’s cool to see, and I see it a lot because I spend a lot of time with him.”
