Trackhouse Racing has announced a major partnership with Red Bull for the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season.
The drinks giant, which of course runs two teams in F1 (one of which includes the mighty Max Verstappen), will now have a very visible presence in America’s premier cup series.
Red Bull will serve as primary partner for teenage phenom Connor Zilisch and Kiwi road course bully Shane van Gisbergen for 25 races.
Zilisch will first sport the iconic Red Bull colors on February in the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway. He will also become the youngest competitor to enter the iconic race since Joey Logano in 2009 at the age of 18.
Six-time Cup Series winner van Gisbergen will be behind the wheel of the Red Bull Chevrolet for the first time in 2026 one week later at EchoPark Speedway on February 22.
The 2026 Red Bull paint schemes (you can check them out here) are a thing of beauty - according to Trackhouse they feature “a timeless matte, dark blue base, elevated by shimmering accents that outline the cars’ numbers, exuding a bold and commanding presence on track”. Okay then…
Van Gisbergen’s No. 97 Chevrolet has red rays streaking from the lower front tire to the upper rear, contrasting Zilisch’s No. 88, which has blue rays sweeping across both sides of the car.
Zilisch and SvG on 2026 paint schemes
Both van Gisbergen and Zilisch have just got a first look at their new 2026 numbers, proudly showcased in the iconic Red Bull livery.
“It means a lot to have the number No. 97 on my Cup car,” said SvG. “It’s a number that means so much to my family and me, so to see it on my car for the first time was surreal. I love the red flash designs on both sides of the car. It’s going to look epic on the track.”
Zilisch, who transitions to the Cup Series full-time for his rookie campaign in 2026 after claiming 10 Xfinity Series race victories in 2025, was impressed seeing his number for the first time.
“It’s so cool to be driving No. 88 in the Cup Series. The number is historic, and so many great drivers have driven it. I certainly have big shoes to fill, but I can’t wait to get the season started.
“I love the blue streaks across the side of the car. The dark matte blue allows the light blue streaks to pop. I’m excited to have it on track next year.”
