Former Cup Series stars turned FOX broadcasters Clint Bowyer and Jamie McMurray will soon be back on a NASCAR track after an exciting team announcement on Sunday afternoon.
Ahead of Sunday's Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway, Kaulig Racing has confirmed that both Bowyer and McMurray have joined Ram's Free Agent program, which will see them both drive the No. 25 Ram 1500 at upcoming Truck Series races.

Bowyer will be in action for Kaulig Racing and Ram in the May 15 Truck Series race at Dover Motor Speedway, while McMurray will take the wheel as the series heads to San Diego for a historic, inaugural event at the Naval Base Coronado.
During a 16-year career at the top of the sport, Bowyer won 10 races and completed 541 races in the Cup Series, while McMurray took seven Cup wins in 584 races.

Ram signs Clint Bowyer and Jamie McMurray to Free Agent Program
In an official statement, Bowyer said: “I’m pumped to get back in a truck, especially one with Ram power behind it.
“Dover is a beast - concrete, tight and unforgiving - and I plan to put this No. 25 Ram Free Agent truck right up front where it belongs.”
Elsewhere, McMurray added: “Racing on a naval base in San Diego for the very first time is going to be an incredible experience.
"Street courses reward precision and adaptability, and I’m looking forward to teaming with Kaulig and Ram to make some history in that No. 25 truck.”

Ram chief expresses excitement
Further into the statement, Tim Kuniskis, Head of American Brands, SRT Performance, North America marketing and retail strategy at Stellantis [Ram owner], revealed just how excited he was to make this happen.
“Bringing in veterans like Clint and Jamie adds another level of excitement, which is why we created the Free Agent Program,” Kuniskis said.
“Their experience and success help showcase Ram’s unique approach to America’s motorsport while allowing fans to watch a couple of their favorite drivers get behind the wheel of a Ram 1500 with Kaulig Racing.”
