We've all dreamed about being a racing driver, right? Well, YouTube star Cleetus McFarland is living that dream.
The 30-year-old is set to make his NASCAR debut at Daytona International Speedway next week...if he passes a driving test.
McFarland has amassed 4.63 million subscribers on YouTube over the years, but also loves being behind the wheel. Last season, he raced four times in the ARCA Menards Series, for example, but his ambitions go much higher.
The Omaha, Nebraska native has revealed that his mission is to one day race in the Daytona 500 in memory of his late friend, the legendary Greg Biffle, and the first step on that ambitious journey begins next week.
Niece Motorsports has confirmed that McFarland will run in the Truck Series race at Daytona on February 13, driving the No. 4 Chevrolet Silverado.
All of this, however, is subject to the 30-year-old gaining NASCAR approval and passing a test at Rockingham Speedway on February 10.

Cleetus McFarland set to race at Daytona
McFarland's effort will be backed by the Black Rifle Coffee Company, and he sure is excited about the opportunity.
“I’ve been lucky to drive a lot of really cool stuff, but Daytona in a NASCAR Truck is a whole new level,” McFarland said.
“This is my first time in the series, so I know it’s going to push me way outside my comfort zone, and that’s what makes it so exciting.
"I’m incredibly grateful to have partners like Black Rifle Coffee Company, BRUNT and Niece Motorsports backing us every step of the way. We’re going to go have some fun and see what this thing can do.”
