NASCAR has confirmed that single-car qualifying will be in place at the track this evening, with drivers set to have one opportunity to stake their claim for pole ahead of Sunday's AdventHealth 400.

Last season in the spring race at Kansas, it was Cup Series champion Kyle Larson who claimed pole, just edging the likes of Chris Buescher, Christopher Bell and Tyler Reddick on that occasion.

Larson went on to win that race, too, but when the Cup Series returned later in the year, Chase was the name to have. Chase Briscoe put his No. 19 Toyota on pole on that occasion, with Chase Elliott going on to win Sunday's race.

This time around, Denny Hamlin is the early favorite to take the victory, but we can't wait to see who comes out on top, and it all starts competitively with Saturday's qualifying session!
