The 2026 NASCAR Cup Series hits Las Vegas Motor Speedway for qualifying today, and we've got all of the timing, scheduling, and TV channel information you need ahead of the action.
NASCAR has confirmed that single-car qualifying procedures will be in place at the 1.5-mile tri-oval, with drivers set to have one opportunity to take the pole for Sunday's main event.
CUP QUALIFYING RESULTS: Christopher Bell storms to Las Vegas pole as Joe Gibbs Racing dominate
Last year at the Nevada track, the man to do that was Michael McDowell in the No. 71, beating the Team Penske duo of Joey Logano and Austin Cindric to do so on that occasion. The year prior, Logano was the man who came out on top, so he's certainly one to watch on Saturday.
Last March's Las Vegas race winner, Josh Berry, qualified in seventh in 2025, and after a rough few weeks at Atlanta, COTA and Phoenix, he would love to secure another strong result at the track this weekend.
Let's not forget about reigning Cup Series champion Kyle Larson either. The Hendrick Motorsports star has the highest average starting position of any active driver in the Cup Series (7.3 in 19 starts), and so he will no doubt be strong in qualifying, too.
