NASCAR is back! That's right, the 2026 Cup Series schedule kicks off today, Wednesday, February 4, with the Clash exhibition race at Bowman Gray Stadium.
It is the second consecutive year that the event has been held at the short track in Winston-Salem, although up until this point, weather has played havoc with the schedule in North Carolina.
However, it finally looks as though we are set to go racing tonight, with two separate races set to take place. That's right, as well as the 200-lap Clash, we will also have a 75-lap last chance qualifying race just before it.
In 2025, Hendrick Motorsports star Chase Elliott totally dominated the Clash, leading for 171 out of the 200 racing laps and following in the footsteps of his father, Bill, in adding his name to the event's winners list.
With all of that said, let's get into all of the timing details that you need for today's action!
